Conceled Carry

My dad would like to start conceled carry again, he has a permit and all the needed things except the most important thing
A gun, me and him were thinking a wather PPK in .380, do you guys have any other suggestions?

.380 is not a whole lot of fire power but the first rule of gunfighting is "have a gun." .380s are pretty small and he might actually carry it! .380 sounds good to me[:D]

yeah, a little small, what are some good larger-cal. guns. Glocks are options and money is not a problem.

get a little 9mm, glock 26 or Kahr. cheaper ammo, more power and fun @the range too

yeah, your right...more fun = more range time = better with gun = safer.

Glock 26, ill check up on it.

Mk 19

Ruger SP-101

takes all the 357's you can shove into it and you can shoot 38's for practice and plinking, there is nothing more reliable than a revolver, isn't that what you need in a carry gun?

In general, a .38 spl out of a 2" barrel is not more powerful than your average 9mm.

Mk-19 thats a good idea, but you only have 6 then your dead.

actually it's 5, but if you need more than 5 your dead already, this is for CCW not for a cop you don't need 18 rds to get your point accross and if you know that your going into a big fight bring something bigger, like a M2HB or my fav Mk-19[:D]
