7.62x54R insert for 7.62x25

Anybody had any experience with the $14.00 steel insert that will allow you to shoot milsurp 7.62x25 in a .303 or a 7.62x54R?

If so, does it work well enough to make it worthwhile? It is definately cheap enough and allows you to shoot much, much cheaper ammo although of course shoot it single shot. I assume you would have to chamber the round by hand but does the bolt eject the fired round or do you have to take it out by hand?

Disclaimer- no personal experience with THAT insert. have used similar inserts for .32 ACP in 30-06, 308. Indifferent sucess. OK for plinking at 50 yds. Extraction will depend on the insert you use. Some extract the entire insert, and you hand extact. .303 Brit and 7.62 x54 are both RIMMED cartridges, no way to grab case head.
