It is a German bolt action made in Suhl, a famous arms making area of Germany. This is all I can say from the meager information. Now I deduce, knowing German weapons, is that it was made between 1919 and 1939, has BUG or British nitro proofs, very light barrel, a flip sight and additional markings on the barrel. The .22 Hornet was very popular on the Continent during the interwar years. Without additional information, this is about the extent I can go.
