Just thinking of doing business with Mr. McLane Tilton of Santa Barbara and Las Vegas. Does anyone have any experience doing gun deals with the man or the firm MT Guns? I am particularly interested in trading up from my Savage Anschutz Match 64 and he has offered to help me. I am thinking about going into an Anschutz 1407 which allegedly has a 54 Action and an 8oz trigger two stage trigger and is in the 11 pound weight class. All the data says that this will be a step up for me but just want to see if anyone can help me out with MT Guns. They are offering a trade that by all accounts is fair. But, do I send my gun first? Do they send the new one first after receiving my check for the difference? Am I safe here???
