How can one determine that an upper was made by bushmaster? It has the following stamped on the barrel- B MP 5.56 NATO 1/8 H BAR

You usually cannot tell who made the upper assembly.

According to this http://www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/uppers/ Bushmasters are marked FK, FS, BK, DK, EK, FK, AF, CW, or AA.
