17 Mach IV Rifle

I have a Remington 700 custom built bull barrel rifle in 17 mach IV. Do you honestly think that there would be much interest in it (there have been none listed the last 90 days on here) or is it just a "fad" caliber. I see and hear alot about the Mach 2 but not much on the Mach IV. The mach IV is a 221 fireball necked down to .17, but it is not the same as a 17 fireball. All I know is that it is a fine shooting round. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Manufacturing isn't what it used to be, it is much more flexable. Winchester/Olin has several types of brass and ammo that are only produced once every year or two. So "fad" cartridges may well have better life expectancy the ever. The 17 mach iv may never be more popular then the .223, it will probably remain in production for many years to come. If in doubt buy several hundred pieces of empty brass for back up and save the once shot brass as you go. I'm restoring an old single shot in 218bee. While I can still buy new ammo I will be saving for the future as you can never tell when something will be discontinued, but I'd be very surprised if that happened anytime soon.
