I ran accross a High Standard, Mitchell arms, 22 SS w/gold trigger. Victor II.
Used, but in extra nice Cond.
Can one of you shed a bit of light on this Semi-auto pistol?
and the value, with box and handbook.

Very limited production, dating to the 1990's. One of the (2) companies that started making High Standard replicas in the 90's. They ceased production, when they lost lawsuit to other company. They weren't renowned for making quality guns. Don't buy it unless you can test fire it to verify reliability and accuracy. My 2?.

Pastucek Industries of Fort Worth, Texas made the clones for Mitchell.

Aimco made High Standard clones for Stoeger.

The following link shows production figures for the post High Stadanrd Connecticut clones and production by High Standard Houston. High Standard Houston took Mitchell, Pastucek and Stoeger to court and all stopped clone production and/or sales.

Stick with the Connecticut High Standards.
