What kind of accuracy could an excellent shooter expect from one of these at 100 yards?
thanks

At 100 yards with a good scope and bi pod i can shoot the center out of a dime. I have a savage 93r. Its really really acurate. The farthest i have shot with it is 200 yards and its really acurate there to. Thats the farthest i can shoot at my house. I would buy it again. Good Luck David.

I have a 93fv in 22wmr, get just under an inch at 100 yards. I've seen the same gun in 17 do half inch groups...

    edit 1 - i'm not a great shot.

edit 2 - Does it have the accutrigger? Also, the scope may or may not work for you. For glass, you may be able to still find a Simmons WTC 6.5-20x50 for $99 - being closed out, normally a $250 scope.

Mike you can find it cheaper but thats not a bad deal. It's a really acccurate round under ideal conditions. The light bullet weight makes for horrid accuracy in wind IMO. I picked up my Savage Stainless, bull barrell, with a thumbhole stock for $199 at a pawn shop. Gun looked like it was shot once.

I couldn't shoot the center out of a dime...but I put 5 shots in a dime at 100 yards with mine...Then shot 4 quarters at 200 yards. I have a Savage also..They sure are fun...
