just inheritated the gun. 30-06 caliber, made in 1951 according to serial number. Has had 8 rounds shot thru it, has original box, and a weaver scope mounted on it. Very small scratch in top of barrel and three bb size dents below the bolt handle. Otherwise brand new. Does one put it away in the safe and admire it for a collector, or does one take it out for a walk in the woods occassionally?

this is common, the safety needs to be adjusted (by a gunsmith). any wear to any of the trigger parts & pins will cause this.
