Are SIG barrels polygonally rifled? Can I shoot lead bullets through them?

Nope, its conventional rifling. Only Glock and HK USP use polygonal rifling in common market production run duty capable handguns.

The new FNP series is also conventional rifling? What about the HK 45 series?

I don't think FN puts polyrifling on anything? Not any of their rifles or handguns. But not the FNP for sure. They advertise it as hammer forged and don't say, but you can look at them in person and see the rifling isn't polyagonal. Its got cutting lands and grooves.

Good question on the HK45. I assume that its still the USP series, and haven't seen anything that says it doesn't have a poly barrel. I will have to finger one myself to see, all I can do is assume it does at the moment becasue again I haven't read or seen anything that says otherwise, and I know how HK likes to use poly rifling on all its guns. Generally when one manufacturing process is used, you will see it widespread to as many products as possible that the company makes. This is practical and cost efficient. And its kinda an HK thing. Heck other than a few after market makers the only rifle company I know who uses poly rifling is Noveske in their AR's.
