AR 5.7 Upper Install

I am installing my new 5.7 upper and things are going pretty good. I have the front pivot pin installed, buffer exchanged, and bolt installed. My problem is the rear takedown pin. How do I remove it from the lower? The front pin I just pushed out with my fingers but I can move the rear pin.

Please realize that I am talking about a mil-spec AR lower.

Thanks guys,

I did it. I just tapped the rear pin w/ a brass punch & it came out. Since the front was removed w/ my fingers I thought maybe the rear was different when I couldn't budge it.

BTW, this thing rocks. I'm headed to the range after work today.

Most people take out the rear takedown pin first. That takes any spring pressures that might be off the rear.
