Bert, do you know the value of Winchester books?

I was at a garage sale today and picked up three books. The first is "The History of Winchester Firearms 1866-1966" 3rd edition, by George R Watrous. It slides into a sleeve with some old time photos on it. The second book is "The Winchester Book", first edition, signed by the author, George Madis. It has a brown binding with an embossed horse and rider on the cover. The third book is "Winchester, an American Legend" by R.L. Wilson. All of the books are mint condition.
Do you have any idea if there is any collector value to these books?
Thanks for your input!

I'm not Bert, but when I want to check the approx. value of a book before I buy it, I go to abebooks.com and compare quality and potential price.

    Hello Chris,

For the 1st and 3rd book, I am not sure I would classify it as "collector" value, but they are worth money to the folks who don't have a copy. The Madis book is collectable because it is a first edition.

The Winchester Model 42 (schwing)is fast becoming a collector ($200) and Roger Rule's a riflemans rifle is through the roof ($500). Get them if you can.
