I am looking at an IBM mfg. Looks like a type 111. But IBM is not listed in Blue Book as a type 111 mfg. It does not appear refurbished. Are there ways to determine if arsenal refurbished?? Any help is appreciated. It looks almost new with its Parkerized finish. Has a canvas cover, 5 magazines with a pouch dtd 1943 from Chalotte Tent and Awning CO., sling and oiler. There are a bunch of Cartouches on the stock. An "AA" above the trigger, A "P"in a square with a "P" under it on the pistol grip and an "R.R.A." on the left side of stock. I am guessing these are inspector initals.

Usually can't tell much without photos, but you've given us some good clues.

AA is the Augusta Arsenal stamp; RRA is the Red River Arsenal stamp. It has been rebuilt at least twice.

P is the firing proof; it is applied when a carbine is first built, & each time it is rebuilt.

As for value, at least $500, maybe as much as $700-800 depending upon what it looks like & how much barrel wear it has.
