Colt Service Model Ace

I'm looking at a Colt Service Model Ace parkerized. The barrel is blued. Is this correct?

    There are MANY different vintages of colt conversion units as well as complete Pistols on 1911/1911A1 frames with out knowing exactly what you have with good pictures it would be very hard to tell if all the pieces go together as a correct original unit

    Pictures sent as you can see the Box and unit marked SERVICE MODEL is one of the first types many other models with slight changes cam out after this one the sights were different slide markings different some with Milled ejector and some stamped The Ace pistol did not have floating chamber the conversion units did and then many other Colt conversion units last one the ACE II kit and also many others Makers of conversion units The 4 target grade are Day 30X Kart & marval as well as Peter STAHLsold by PACHMAYR
