Polish AK74/Tantal Bayonet

I recently got a CAI AK74 Polish Tantal. It has 2 bayonet lugs. The Polish AK47 bayonet will not fit it, as the latch for the lug is designed for a rifle with a lug under the front sight (like the Czech VZ58). A Romanian AK47 bayonet almost fits, but the barrel and gas block are just a little too big for the bayonet to fit.

Does anyone know where I can find the correct bayonet to fit this rifle?

The Polish AK-47 bayonet should fit your Tantal. It attaches to the lug under the front sight and around the very end of the Tantal brake.

If you have the first pattern Polish bayonet it will not fit. You have to have the second pattern. Take a look at the one they are selling on AK-47s.com. It is the second pattern.

grip handles even match my handguards[:)]
