I have a chance to buy some new 20 rd magazines for SR-25 7.62 mm. Made by Knight's Armament Company and marked "KAC". Two questions, ball park value per mag & are these compatible with the AR-10?

    Cant tell you a price.

    Depends on WHAT AR-10.

It will not work with the Armalite, Bushmaster or RRA. As they use M1A or FAL mags.

I will work with the DPMS and another one (cant remember right now)

They will work with the DPMS LR-308 and the Fulton arms titan rifle.. I would not pay more then 60.00 for it.. c-products makes 20 rnd sr-25/dpms mags and so does another company..

The magazines in question for the Knight SR-25 are of the original 1950s Dutch AI AR-10 pattern. They will therefore work in the original (and the aftermarket semi-automatic lower receivers sold in the 1980s on which complete rifles were assembled using surplus AI parts kits) and the Knight and some others according to qm. As I recall, the magazines are steel, which presumably makes them more durable than the original ArmaLite aluminum "waffle" pattern magazines. At one time, Knight charged a lot more than $60 for them, but I have not priced them lately. With the coming ban, I would lean toward getting them while the getting is good.
