I am leaning towards a Browning Mountain Ti 270 wsm . I would appreciate some of the experts views on this gun. Is it worth the dollars they cost? Are they very accurate? I am looking for good Elk gun. Please help. Thanks,Fred

Will you be elk hunting in MO ??

I think your rifle selection ought to depend on the countryside and weather in which you intend to hunt.

That said, it would be hard to find a finer rifle, in the Browning's price range.

If you are looking for something more budget friendly, but just as nice, look at the Tikka T-3 lite. or the new Browning X-Bolt. The detatchable magazine on the A-Bolts are more of a pain, but work well as they attatch to the floor plate. Seriously check out the Tikka.
