I have a savage model 101 single shot 22 pistol that my father gave me when I was four. He said he paid around 19 dollars for it in 1967. Is there any value to it today. I havn't really seen to many of these. It is in good condition. about 75% overall. I don't want to sell it and will leave it to my son but I was just wondering what its worth.

Have a savage 101 in 22 lr. at the moment the it is unable to safely fire. If you attempt to cycle the action, it will just reset itself. and when you cycle the hammer the trigger will move reward just as being fired. but the hammer will not lock into a safe/fire position. Problem is belived to be sear pin. does anyone have experience replacing the sear in this type of gun.

    Little fishy

hello. according to blue book, value is very low. in 95% condition, its listed at 100.00. you might get a little more, or a little less depending where you sell it. they were made from 1960 to 1968.

Hi Oakie, I have one of those also, they are neat little guns.
I saw one on GB within the last year or so, seems like it sold for around 200.00. By the way if you need any parts for it Numrich Arms has about everything you might need.
