8mm Nambu holster

Anyone know what the value is of a WWII vintage canvas holster for the Nambu is worth?? Im working on a trade and am considering taking the holster in. Its in very good condition.

    ...I would imagine it depends on how many of each were made, ie; rarity. Im sure the Japs found out/knew quickly the tropics were were not friendly at all to leather, hince the canvas.

    ...With C&R collectables it all hinges on condition, originality and finding the "right" collector, one who maybe needs what you have to fill a hole in thier collection that dictates what it would sell for.

    ..If you can research the number of canvas and leather holsters that were produced you can probably get a ball park. I would think fewer leather survived than canvas but then there may not have been many canves produced, I just don't know, could have been a chit load of each produced.

    ...You might try contacting a large WWII Museum, they could probably be a great help, or one one of the good C & R forums, luck...[;)]
