WINCHESTER MODEL 64 HELP

We have a Model 64 here in the shop (just came in). Serial number 1107729. .30 WCF . Has a checkered pistol grip and forend . Missing rear sight. Has a peep sight installed. Overall condition 50%. What can you guys tell me about this gun ? Thanks

    Good Afternoon. My records indicate 1939/1940 manufacturing date. However, Bert H. can pinpoint that for you as he has access to more precise records.

    Serial number 1107729 was manufactured in mid year 1936.

    I have a few questions about this rifle;

    1. What caliber is it?
    2. Standard rifle, Deer Rifle, or Carbine?
    3. Drilled & tapped for a receiver sight?
    4. Type 6 or type 7 upper tang marking (see pictured below)?
    5. Is the upper tang drilled & tapped for a tang sight?
