Can anyone tll me anything about this process ??

Could it be used to put a perfect(?) new finish on a stainless firearm or knife blade ??

Who does this work ??

Thank you.

Vapor Blasting is known as liquid/vapor honing or wet blasting. It is a process using water as a carrier of the media or grit to produce a soft slurry versus an aggressive dry media (Sand/Glass/Shot). It is also used in cleaning operations and as a finishing process for final inspection. Vapor Blasting does not change the dimensions of the part, but rather 'blends in" scratches and eliminates minimum surface imperfections. It is similar to bead blasting but uses an air and water mix to give a blasted finish to all non ferrous metals and stainless steel.

    Thank you !!

Can you tell me some places that do it ??

I'm thinking of buying a Gerber BMF which has a lot of surface flaws, and it occurred to me that this technique might be a fix.
