I have a 12 ga. ranger chief double barrel in vg condition. I also have a Ranger 12 pump shotgun in vg condition. I am trying to learn who made these guns. Does anyone know? And approximately when they were made. And any kind of value figure. These guns are in very nice condition. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ranger was a name used on firearms made for Sears Roebuck Co. Their
firearms were made by other makers, Marlin for one. I have a Ranger
Model 34A .22 semi-auto mid 1940's vintage which is actually a
Marlin Model A1 .22 . I ran across a web site that listed "Store Brand" firearms and the actual maker. I'll see if I can find the web address for you.

p.s. Do you have any model numbers on these shotguns?
