I have a Ithaca hammerless bouble barrel, SN#768** should make it a Crass. I am second guessing my marks. Number 1 over number 12 on water table. Should be grade 1, 12 guage? Thanks

Yep, it is a Grade 1 Crass made in 1903. I own serial number 78484 which is a Grade 1.

Bert, the gun is in good shape except sometime, back in the day, the butt was cut shorter, and then later, someone added a piece of buttstock back on. It still has both sights, all numbers match and is tight. I am going to list it on here before it is over. Without seeing it, what should I expect for value?

    An idea:

When you list it, you will need photos in your listing. So, why not post the photos on this forum say, a day or two prior to listing it? By doing that, you will allow us to establish a reasonably accurate value estimate to include with the listing. Neat, huh?

    Best, Joe

Damascus or fluid steel barrels? Does it have any case colors left on the frame? Without seeing it, about the best I can come up with is $200 - $400[?]

I think the best thing is to follow up on the suggestion of pics before posting. I will do that tommorrow. Great idea. Thanks
