BOUQUIN LIEGE

hello all
Can someone please give me some info about the BOUQUIN LIEGE shotgun, all I can finsd is that its made in belgum and thats it, are these guns worth anything, were they limited and rare, great guns, junk guns ??? any and all info would be greatly appriciated.

    Welcome to the Gunbroker Forums!

    Usually the older Belgian shotguns have several sets of proof marks, acceptance codes and chamber sizes. To find these, you need to take off the forearm and look at the underside of the barrels. Then open the shotgun to remove the barrels. Look at the underside of the barrels at the chamber. The last place where most of the information gets stamped is called the water table which is the flat area that the barrels rest on when closed.

    Photograph these areas with the marks so the marks are sharp and legible. This way we can help you decipher some of the information.
