    Doug, Go to www.swfa.com and look at the Nikon IRT @ around 900.00 or the big dog is the Zeiss Diarange @ around 4000.00. There are a few more out there these days.

    "Zeiss Diarange @ around 4000.00"

    That one is $3.00 over my budget.

    Budgets are important to stick to.

    Thanks for your help. I'll check out the other site.

    SWFA also lists the Burris at around 700.00 and as stated. "It is a Burris" and that would be the route I would take because of the no BS warranty and I am sure there is plenty to go wrong with these toys.

    Doug Wilson,

    Just to keep up with the increasingly available technology, here's a scope you need to read up on:

    Name: DigitalHunter Riflescope
    Model: DH1
    MSRP: $1199 USD

    DigitalHunterT by ELCAN Optical Technologies: The world's first digital riflescope brings the power of modern electronics and software to the shooting sports. It's rugged design features:

    * Electronic Ballistics Compensation
    * Automatic Video Capture
    * Four Field Selectable Reticles
    * Customizable Reticles

    http://www.elcansportingoptics.com/ProductLine/index.php

    Be sure to select 'Features' from the menu and go through all of the images. The one about the rangefinder is especially interesting.

    Best.

    Thank y'all for this good info.

    Both the Burris and the Elcan are intriguing.

    Leaning toward the Burris because I've been impressed with the ones I've owned, and the price difference can buy another rifle !!

    Thank you.

    Doug

    Checked the Elcan, and it doesn't have a rangefinder, but does have night vision if needed.

    Nothing on laser rangerfinder scope on the Burris homepage. What's up ??

    Do these folks - Burris/Elcan - not actually offer one ??

    None of these folks appear to offer a laser rangefinder integral to a telescopic rifle sight.

    Thanks, anyway.

    Doug: Nononsense now has the rangefinding link. May not have been there when you initially saw his post. Best, Joe
