i was on the auction side and came across this
http://v4.beta.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=124354512

i wasnt aware federal arms made a hk style weapon. anyone have one of these? im thinking that for a bid of only 200+ dollars it cant be a quality clone.

hello. federal arms made 2 versions of the hk 91. the stamped and welded lowe as in the auction, and a solid cast aluminum lower gun. i had on of the aluminum 91s. pile-o-crap! i passed on one of the stamped lower guns for 450.00 at a show last week. very crude looking. i would suspect with 13 days left, it will probably reach 4 to 5 hundred before the auction ends.

Keep your $$$ and wait until you can buy the real thing. The parts guns just aren't even close to an HK91.

sounds like it might be pretty well hit or miss with these rifles.

Either get a JLD or an original HK91.

ptr91 if you want a copy. I have seen many horror stories on the net about the cheaper parts guns. Some people have flawless rifles and some get a lemon,....it seems to be hit or miss.
