mossberg m4 scope instructions?

located a very nice mossberg m4 scope with no stamped letter designation, so built early 1930's and first of the m4 scopes, have noticed however when attempting to adjust the crosshairs that they dont seem to move and this is the oldest of the other m4 scopes with the dials with clips, here are some pics of another mossberg m4 scope for reference, although not mine:

is there anyone that is real familiar with these that could help me adjust the crosshairs to center, as i really don't like the idea of trying to experiment with these old nostalgic pieces.

    My go-to person(s) for ANYTHING Mossberg is Vic and/or Cheryl Havlin, www.havlinsales.com They run the Mossberg Collectors Assoc, and are very nice folks to deal with.

    vic can be a little difficult to reach sometimes as he is usually quite busy, although i know that there are several mossberg vintage collectors like myself on here that are well acquainted with the mossberg m4 scopes and may be able to offer some advice as it were.
