Remington 870 DOM?

Is there away of telling dom of Remington 870's by receiver serial numbers rather than barrel codes? I have 4 870's and 1 11/87 and have confidence in the 11/87 and two of the 870 for the barrel codes matching the time frame I bough them new.
The one 870 I am having trouble with is a special purpose deer with parkerized receiver with old style magazine tube with out dedents. I came with a blued and silver solid trigger group and a 26" matte finish vent rib barrel with rem choke. The barrel code dates to 94 or 95 the same as my special purpose I purchase back then. Any help, I know is a parts gun It was cheap?
