Came across a model 94 in 32 special. It has a 20" barrel with about a 2/3rds mag tube. Serial number is 929953. I've heard that this is sometimes referred to as an eastern carbine model. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Todd

edit: If I looked correctly the dom is about 1923????

    Todd,

Was it a Carbine? If it was a Carbine, did it have a saddle ring? A pre-1932 production Carbine without a saddle ring is what makes it an "Eastern" Carbine.

The serial number identifies it as a 1921 production Model 94.
