A while back i made a post regarding how to get a fake suppressor for a ar-15/m-4 rifle. in one of the replys you mentioned you could make one. having seen one of the airsoft ones my friend purchased for displaying with his rifle and not being impressed with it, i was curious if you could make a nice one that would fit a post ban ar-15 (i.e. un-threaded barrel)?? i dont know if theres some way of mounting it securely to a barrel with out threads but if there is please let me know. the gun will mainly be a display piece but i stil want to be able to shoot it now and again. thanks

Yeah....Brownell's has them listed in their catalog but they don't HAVE them. I sent Harlan an e-mail. I'll let you know what part number, if any, he says will fit.Mudge

Mudge501 785 4570 is an Excellent smith who put Comps on some Commander slides for my daughters and I.They are the same length as a Govt Model and the same contour.Ask for Danny.Use a regular Govt barrel.cpermd
