Greetings.. I just came by one of these. I could use some input, both good or bad, on this rifle. Loads(smokeless), bullets, sights, accuracy etc. If you have one, let me know what you think. Any input greatly appreciated... Thanks.. BB TNTdredger@aol.com

Weeeelll now, I have 2 of these fine rifles, a .40-65 and a .45-90 and really like them. 'Course, I like ALL Win. '85s. I'm assuming you are talking about the BCPCR model. I like the Soule-type tang sight and windgauge front w/inserts, they give very repeatable settings. Accuracy is very good. I shoot mostly black powder in mine, but have used XMP5744 with good results. If you can get the freebie Reloader's Guide from Accurate Arms (1-800-416-3006) at your local sporting goods store, it gives loads for XMP5744 and other powders. Note that these are MAXIMUM LOADS and must be dropped 10% to start out. I'll give you a holler on your email instead of taking up more space here. Emery
