mailing airguns

I recently sold an air pistol (Crosman Shiloh) at auction and am running into problems finding a shipper. I have shipped an air rifle before with UPS and had no problems. but this gun needs to go to a guy in England, and both UPS and Fed Ex refuse. Although Fed Ex said if both he and I are FFL holders they could do it. Tough to find one of those in London I'm guessing. I told him that wasn't the law and a BB gun wasn't a firearm, but he insisted it was. Oh well, can't fight city hall. What are my options here? Now I see why some folks won't accept foreign bids.

Just put it in the US mail. No restrictions in the US on mailing air guns

Thanks for the info. But does the international aspect make a difference. The guy in the UK told me that he was told the package needs to be marked "Low-Power CO2 Airgun." anyone know if that's the case and would the USPS balk at that?

You will have to fill out a customs form that will go on the package. That is where you can put the description.
