sks shell deflector

i was going to put a scope on my russian sks....i would like to know the recommended brand, power, and sighting system that would work best with this rifle. about the shell deflector....if i install this with the scope how will it affect the top loading of the rifle....thanks

    With a scope mounted you wont be able to use stripper clips ... single round load only.

    been there, done that. Don't waste any time or money on ANY SKS shell deflector. They all either don't work or cause about every 3rd round to fall back into the chamber and jam the rifle. I've had them all. Just use a 4X short scope and you won't need a shell deflector and you can use stripper clips.I use a Simmons 4 power short scope on my SKS and it works fine.Don't but Leepers scopes.........made in China and total junk!!
