Breakdown MAS 49/56... how?

I just got one of these for the first time (in 7.5 french, thank God). It came with 60 rounds of corrosive Syrian ammo. I have shot this stuff in the MAS 36 before. I hesitate to use it in a semi auto though, unless I can break it down to clean properly. Does the gas tube/upper handgaurd assembly remove? And how does one get the bolt assembly off the reciever? If it isn't easy to remove these parts, I will stick with my non corrosive reloads in this gun, and use the Syrian crap up in the 36, which is easy to clean.

owner's manual in English-recoil spring is a little "squirmy" otherwise very easy. Sent before but it didn't work.
