Good write-up in current American Handgunner about the Kahr product line. I know everyone uses Glock as the benchmark for comparisions. How does Kahr stack up in your opinion? I what a small frame for carrying. The P9 caught my eye. Glock doesn't have any thing that slim does it? Thanks

Kahr is top notch but a bit on the heavy side unless you go with the polymer frame "Covert" model, which is a bit on the expensive side (no more so than Glock, though).

KAhr makes a fine firearm. As stated above they are on the bit heavier side. The polymer frames are lighter, however, the P9 fits in my hand quite well. They are excellent to conceal. The only firearm glocks makes that is comparable in size might be the Glock 36. But it's a .45

kahr makes a P9 and a P40. Both are excellent. My 2 cents

I found the Kahr 9mm to be very accurate. The weight didn't bother me and the recoil was very managable. A word of caution.....the Kahr will fire out of battery. When it does, did for me, it blew the extractor off and rendered the gun unusable. I had fired about 150 rounds through it that day. The gun was clean and lubricated when I started. The incident occurred when I was shooting and making magazine changes. I had fired about 2000 rounds through the gun before with no problem.
