Looking for a .22 for a left handed 10 yearold. He's a big kid.Shots the 10/22 ok but don't like getting smaked with the empty as it gets kicked out.Any Ideas ? Lever action or pump ? Or is there a lefty .22 bolt out there somewhere? Thanks,Oro

Easy. Browning semi-auto. Ejects out the bottom.

I'd go with the Winchester Model 9422. They look great, work great, never jamb and are pretty accurate. Can easily put on a scope if you like. Kids love them and so do I (big kid I guess!).Bonne Chasse!

My vote goes to the leveractions. I am lefthanded also. I have owned Marlin 39As , Winchester 94/22, and the Browning BL22. They are all good rifles.

If you don't mind spending a bit extra I would suggest a Browning T-Bolt. I bought one for my lefty son. Is a great shooter, is definatly a keeper he would treasure his whole life. I think the "old" Kimber co. made a few left hand model 82's. I also have the browning 22 auto & the BL-22 and my son loves to shoot both. (he's 10 but average size) hope this helps... Savage also makes a left hand bolt for @ $165.
