I have a sar-3 that I wish to change to another stock set and I don't know how. I tried to remove the butt stock by taking the top screw out and I couldn't get it to budge. Is there any where that I can go on the web to get ILLUSTRATED instructions on how to do this without destroying the wood. thanks - V

Take the top cover off-push in the gizmo at the back of the receiver and pull it up and back-there's another screw for the buttstock under it.You'll have to take the recoil assy.out to get to the screw-it's easy, just push it forward and pull it up and gently let the pressure off.To remove the upper hand guard, look on the right side of the rear sight block-you'll see a lever.Rotate it up 2 clicks, till it's pointing straight up,lift the back of the handguard, and pull it back and off of the gas tube.To remove the lower handguard, look at the front, right, upper side of the guard-next to the barrel-you'll see a little lever.Rotate it up(you might have to give it a little tap to get it started)and forward, pull down on the back of the handguard.Bing,bang,boom...hope that helps you.
