Im a 19 year old living in weld county colorado. A family friend has offered to sell me a .40 baby eagle hand gun for my increasing hobby of target shooting. I want to do my best to make this trans. legal. So i was wondering one of two things 1. Can I buy this gun legaly (I have no fellonys or other reasons i can buy other then age) And if so how would i go about this? (This fam. friend is not a licsened dealer just a Privite guy) 2. Can i posses this fire arm legaly and also what restrictions are on that?Thanx For The Help!Joshua

i know here in texas you can buy a gun at 18, but not the ammo unit 21, go figure. if you make a call to your local police department or sheriff they will be able to advise you of the local laws in your area.

I believe the Colorado Proposition passed last November only requires that all GUN SHOW transfers go through an FFL for a background check. I do those transfers at the Durango shows.
