Hamilton Gun Co.

A friend has a gun that was made in the early 1900S. All it has stamped on it is Hamilton Gun Co. stamped on the stock where your cheek would rest no forearm, its a single shot 22 that loads about 8 inches from the front. He wants to sell it but has no idea what tis worth.

    Depending upon condition and comleteness, A Hamilton single shot is worth from very little to about $125. Have him email me with particulars and I may be interested. kidsgun at yahoo dot com

    From your description, it sounds like a model 7. I would suggest your friend get a copy of 2001 Standard Catalog of Firearms and look it up in there. Also he might want to consider puting it up for auction on this site under "Antiques" section.
