I just aquired a Marlin 444 made in 1969 and has the 1970 centenial emblem imbedded in the butt stock. the condition of this rifle is as near 100% as i've ever seen. It was bought new in 1970 and put in a gun cabinet and forgotten about. I also recieved the original box of bullets that was purchased with the gun and only three are missing. there are no marks on the wood and there are no marks on the metal. the blueing is 100% This is the first series of 444 with monte carlo straght grip stock and 24inch barrel. What should I expect i'ts value to be.
