The springfield mags were probably made by mecgar in the first place.
what makes you say that, as i have heard both good and bad about mecgar, but if they are and that is what i have now then i say they are good as i havent had any problems with the mags that came with the pistol?
if they are mecgar, do you know where to find them?
Mec-Gar makes more factory mags than any other maker. They are also owned by Beretta. I have sold several hundred and use a bunch and have never had issues with Mec-Gar mags.
Is it true that para-ordnance p14 .45 14rd magazines will fit the springfield armory hicap 1911 pistol, is anyone familiar with this?
