Greetings, RCBS has a kit out right now "Supreme Master Kit" for $289.00. Would appreciate feedback from anyone that has purchased this set-up or those familiar with RCBS products. This would be 1st time venture into reloading, kit has a Speers #14 manual as part of pkg., I hear is a pretty good reference, I also hear the digital scale and/or dispenser is money well spent. I'm new to forum and really enjoy the education ya'll provide on a myriad of topics

Welcome to the forums. I dont have the Supreme Master Kit, but have owned several other RCBS machines over the years. Many of the die sets I have are RCBS also.

They make excellent quality loaders and dies as evidenced by their longevity, about 60 years now. If the kit you mention fills your needs I think you will be happy with it.

Since you are new to reloading I suggest you thoroughly read the manual that comes with any machine you buy as well as the loading data manual. Stick with the published load data to prevent accidents.

    fair oaks:-
I've used RCBS stuff for years and can't remember of having any problems with it.

I haven't seen this kit you're looking at, but the current rumor going around about the digital scale/dispenser is that it's now made in China. They were made by Pact and were top notch in my experience.

If they're anything like the other Chinese stuff I've seen you won't be handing them down to your kids later.

Welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.

You have chosen a great set up. Actually RCBS is the standard of which all others are judged by. It is hard to find something better for the price, and they are head and shoulders above LEE.

There are many loading refferences out there, and I suggest one for each bullet manufacturer you are going to use. I mean by that, if you are just going to shoot Speer bullets, then that manual is the one to have, but if you want to shoot Nosler, Barnes or Hornady, or others, get their manual...they are always great reading. I have a whole library of them from about 1975 on up.

I also started with the RCBS kit when I started and all my friends told me to buy the top end kit in the begenning because I would end up with buying the upgrades later. They were right, the only part to that kit that I still use is the press. So IMHO If you think your going to get into reloading for the long hall and its in your budget I would buy the RC Supreme Deluxe kit.
