Does anyone know what good highly accurate (1/2 MOA) 20" AR 15 service rifle uppers are going for these days?

Depends on the maker, whether its new or used, and what parts it has in it.

So is this like a CMP/DCM style accurized upper?

Are you looking for a standard Colt Hbar. or any bull barreled upper with free-float handgaurds?

mostly too much.a lot of uppers are selling for what a whole rifle cost a year ago.do a "smart search" in parts/accesories and put in your price range for an upper,or do the same under ended auctions.fortunately for you the service rifle configuration isnt quite as popular as the "m4" or "tactical" types so you may get lucky.whoops just read your previous post, still,do a search on ended auctions for what you have you'll get a good idea.

Thats a little high, you can get a White oak for 710 or 695 depending on if you want a flash hider or not. What is a few months. RRA's are 670 for a flat top and 720 for a A2, thats MSRP so through a dealer would be cheaper.

A DPMS, RRA, or Bushmaster Varmint Flat top uppers, with free float handgaurds are the way to go. Anyplace from 500.00 used to 800.00 new.
