AK47 Trigger reset problems

Hey Forum Folks,
I was at the range today and a friend was shooting his new Yugo M70AB2 underfolder. The rifle would go boom and cycle, but the trigger stayed to the rear fired position and would not reset. You could push the trigger forward with the trigger finger, resetting it and then shoot it again. BUT the trigger remained to the rear and would not reset. I sprayed some break free into the trigger hinge area with no improvement.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks to all.

replace the stock trigger with a Tapco G2 trigger...you'll be glad you did. It's only $30

I once had a similar problem with an SLR 101-S.

One of the hammer spring ends jumped across the other leg, thus impeding reset for a second shot.

I fixed the problem by just lifting and returning the spring back into it's place by using a bent paper clip.
