    Damn fine Model 1886... it is worth a minimum of 10X what you paid for it.

    the guy is a good friend .I dont know if I want to tell him that. I had no clue .I will keep that for in the safe .I want to get more info on the two guns

    The Jeffery is most likely chambered for the 333 Jeffery. It is a problem getting the correct diameter bullets for them, but it still is a valuable rifle.

    When I buy from "good friends" I offer ~60-70% average selling price, if they take the offer I feel I made a good deal, and if they keep the item at least they now know the value.
    other than that, it is a very nice looking 1886.
