Hello Barrel sounds like a REM UMC WW I vintage If mint bore it might be worth as much as slide. But I am confused as the Rapant Colt logo between the dates and colt pt.fa mfg co would be after serial 290000 or Transitional variation and if it has an H above the firing pin retainer then it is 1918 a S on top of the firing pin retainer but H hidden by firing pin retainer them 1916 slide. . Is the disconnector hole in the slide a round hole made by an end mill or is it like a half moon such as cut in a shaft to hold a woodruff key? Value would be based on condition and sounds like it got banged around some I think we need pictures if possible.

Late model I would guess 1918 vintage Transitional slide you can tell by the long radius of the recoil spring guide cut and the H visable even with firing pin retainer installed . IMHO regret to say I think it has been refinished all I have seen were much slicker much blacker finish that almost looked like the sides were finished with a surface grinder from front to back. also looks like the rear sight has been replaced and slide staked /peened to hold the rear sight but then also later dropped on the rear sight[:(] I would say $150.00 give or take. the barrel is a REM UMC albeit a later one and worth $200.00 + The other parts $25.00
