We found this in a collection box.

There was some other good stuff that we know about! Bunch of NEW Mod 70 metal buttplates, mags for Win 52's.

What is it? Thanks!

Made for the 22 version of the 1903. Springfield 1922 M-2 magazine, these will bring $50 to $100.

hoosier is on the right track but not totally correct.

The 1922M1 magazine and the M2 magazine look alike but are not. The M2 is slightly longer, which means it extends slightly higher into the receiver. The M2 magazine is stamped with a small M2 on the upper left side. If it is so stamped, it is for an M2 rifle. If the M2 stamp is missing then it is for a 1922M1. They are NOT interchangeable. I would expect to get $100 for the magazine pictured.
