Tec 22

I saw a Tec 22 at the gun show this weekend. My wife has wanted one for some time now. It was $150. It seemed like a good price. Is this about right? Also does the post ban Tec 22 accept hi cap mags? I saw somewhere that the hi cap mags for the Tec 22 are the same as the ones for the Ruger 10/22. Is this true?     That price sounds on the money too me. Great little guns to spray down a bunch of cans with. That is what made so many pre-ban guns so great. They were fun! Yes they will accept ALL ruger 10-22 high cap mags. Even the tear-drop drums. Always keep in mind that you will spend as much on the 50 round mag as you will the gun(if you can find them as you well know LOL!). They are no fun unless you get decent sized mag. to put in them. I picked the tech-22 over the tech-9 because of the price of ammo. Spraying 50 rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger and not worrying about price is a great feeling for the man on a budget. One last thing to keep in mind. You may want to by an extra firing pin set up in advance because they are cheap guns and not build to last a life time. Prices are going up and up and up for the pins. Get them why they are still affordable. Have fun!

    Butler Creek mags will not work in the Tec 22. They are the only brand I have found that won't.
