There may be other interpretations, but to me T/C .22 lr sounds like a BARREL ONLY for the Thompson Center Contender Pistol, which goes from .22lr up tp .45-70 or larger, depending on how much you want to spend and how much kick you like. Hope this helps out.

T/C has come out with a .22LR semiauto rifle that looks like it might give the Ruger a run for its money. EXCEPT that it comes with a 5-rd mag instead of 10, and EXCEPT that it's not as easily modified as the Ruger.

T/C Arms just recently introduced a high quality .22LR semi-auto...big, full sized adult sized walnut stock, etc...it's called the .22 Classic; I think it's going to be a big winner;(I'm also hoping they'll come out with one in .22Magnum !!)

Read about this rifle in an advertisement that said with some experimenting with various ammo. you should get .5 inch groups at 50 yds. That is with a good scope and bags. And a good benchrest-shooter.

I bought one awhile back via GunBroker, does 1" at 100 yards prettyconsistently with Winchester white boxed ammo (about $1.75 per box).Heard the PMC brand does better (somebody's magazine review) but I can't find that here in Illinois.I'D like to see it in .22WMR TOO (T/C, are you list'nin'?) but they'd have to re-engineer it for the longer, more powerful cartridge for sure.Only flaw I can see is that magazines holding more than 5 rounds aren't available as yet; factory says "soon, soon."

And my concern is that a bigger mag will start getting in the way and detract from it's overall looks...wonder what it would look like with a tubular mag?A Magnum version with a tubular magazine would suit me just fine !!!
