In need of advice on a Centurian Arms .270

I am looking at a new rifle for my boy.A friend has offered me a Centurian Arms .270 with a Mauser action and a SAKO barrel for $250.00 It has a very nice Zebra pattern sporter stock on it, and comes with a (eeeeewww) Armored NORINCO 3x9.I cant find any info about he weapon online and I was wondering if yall had any opinions.

    Possibly your rifle was manufactured by Century International Arms, Inc. which has used Centurion as a model name. Their rifles are usually based on a military action with new parts as required. The scope is a cheapie, but functional. I think you'd get your money's worth in this deal if the rifle is in nice condition.
